Ty Longley

Ty Longley (1970-2003) was an American musician known for his contributions to the rock and blues genres. He gained prominence as the lead guitarist for the band Great White, which was particularly famous in the 1980s and 1990s for its hard rock sound and hits like "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "Save Your Love." Longley joined Great White in the mid-1990s and contributed to their live performances, showcasing his impressive guitar skills. Tragically, Longley's life was cut short in 2003 during the Station nightclub fire in Rhode Island, which claimed the lives of 100 people, including him. The incident had a profound impact on the music community, raising awareness about fire safety regulations in performance venues.
